Debora Mottahedeh, D.O.

Dr. Debora Mottahedeh joined The New York Spine Institute following the completion of an Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York where she also completed her residency and served as Chief Resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Mottahedeh's clinical focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of bone, joint, nerve, tendon and muscle, with particular emphasis on spine disorders and sports related injuries. She has expertise in ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided injection techniques and also performs diagnostic studies. Her procedures include but are not limited to transforaminal epidural injections, radiofrequency neurotomy, spinal cord stimulators, discography, prolotherapy, EMG and nerve conduction studies.

Dr. Mottahedeh practices a comprehensive and modern approach to the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal disease with the goal of reducing pain and restoring function. Dr. Mottahedeh is committed to patient care and will spend time with her patients addressing any concerns and explaining available treatment options.
